Biblical Perspective for participants
The Rwanda Brethren Conference II (RBC II) will convene 180 participants, comprising 150 church leaders and 30 women leaders. This gathering is not just a logistical assembly but a divinely ordained opportunity for the body of Christ to unite in purpose and mission, reflecting the biblical principles of leadership and community.
The Role of Church Leaders
The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 4:11-12 (NIV):“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” The participation of 150 church leaders signifies a commitment to equipping and building up the church. These leaders will engage in meaningful discussions and prayer, seeking God’s guidance for effective ministry in their respective communities.
Empowering Women Leaders
The inclusion of 30 women leaders highlights the biblical truth that women play an essential role in the ministry. This conference recognizes and empowers women as vital contributors to the mission of the church, fostering an environment where their voices can be heard and their gifts utilized for God’s glory.
Unity in Diversity
As we come together from various regions and backgrounds, we echo the words of 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 (NIV): “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” This gathering exemplifies the unity of the body of Christ, where diverse leaders can come together to encourage one another, share challenges, and strategize for advancing God’s Kingdom.
